Check Your Back Pack-Scrip Order Forms, and Campbell Soup Labels flyer went home today.
Scrip For The Holidays- Grocery stores scrip is a great way to show appreciation and thankfulness to your employees and friends this Thanksgiving. Because of our non-profit status, we can give you a tax receipt for the profit amount of your purchase. One scrip order day left before Thanksgiving and four scrip order days left before Christmas and Hanukkah.
Thanksgiving Food Drive- Information was sent out via email on 11/12/08. This year, each class will be providing Thanksgiving dinners to special families in need. Please contact your room moms or Catherina O’Neil for more information.
Thanksgiving Break Day Care- has been cancelled due to low numbers. Please call Mary Sims for Day Care help.
Chess Club- If you have not signed up for Chess Club, please do so by Fri., Nov. 21st. They require a minimum number for the club.
Pet Show-The show is Friday at 9:10 am.
Christmas at the Museum- The Christmas program will be Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 at the Marywood Retreat Center-2811 Villa Real, Orange, CA 92867. Dec. 12th is half day and arrival at the program is at 1:45 pm. Please check your child’s back pack for a flyer, with information with directions, attire, etc. See you there!
Emergency- As a part of our emergency protocol, we notify radio station KNX 1070 AM for any type of school emergency or school closures. In case of an emergency and you cannot contact the school, due to non school hours, phones down, etc. please listen to KNX 1070 AM radio station for school information and/or closure due to fire, earthquakes etc.
TRIWAY Sports- Both teams are in the play-offs this week. GO BEARS!
DSL Sports- Our flag football team is playing hard and doing a great job, and our volleyball team is off to a great start. GO BEARS!
Toys, Electronic Games/ IPod Devices – are not allowed at school.
Dress Code Reminder- Boys’ hair must not touch the shirt collar and must be cut above the middle of the ears and above the eyebrows. All hair must be the natural color and no extreme hair styles. Girls skirts, jumpers, skorts are to be no more than 4” above the knees.
Day Care Hours (Policy FYI) – Day care closes at 6:00 p.m. If you pick up your child between 6:01-6:14 p.m., there is a $1 charge per minute, paid to the supervisor on duty. After 6:15 p.m., $45 for every 15 minutes will be charged. For example, if you pick up your child at 6:16 p.m., you will be charged $45. If you pick up your child at 6:31 p.m., you will be charged $90. Day care is held in Room 22 after 5 p.m. Also, if you do not know the code, please come to the office or call (714) 288-1432. Thank you.
DSL & TRI WAY Sports Pick-up- Students, not picked up by a parent within 15 minutes after practice, will be checked in to daycare, and the family will be charged $25. The parent must also check the student out of daycare by signing the check-out log book.
Toys, Pokemon (and the like) Electronic Games/ IPod Devices – are not allowed at school.
