Preschool Curriculum
Oakridge's Preschool Program is thoughtfully designed for inquisitive three-, four-, and five-year-olds. Our curriculum nurtures curiosity and supports the development of foundational skills in a warm, engaging environment where children and teachers explore questions together.
Through simple experiments, hands-on exploration, and creative art experiences, children learn about their world firsthand. A balanced combinetion of whole-group and small-group activities allows teachers to meet each child's individual needs daily.
The program supports physical, social, emotional, and creative development while providing enriching educational experiences that build readiness skills in language and literacy. Mathematics, social studies, and science activities further help children understand their community and the world around them.
Most importantly, learning in our preschool classroom is joyful - because having fun in an essential part of meaning learning.
