Mr. and Mrs. Burry's

Thought of the Week

From time to time, you may need to apologize. This will not make you look weak; it will (in the eyes of your child) make you human. None of us are perfect, but we get a little closer to that goal when our children see us apologize for our mistakes. This is far better than when they know we are wrong and yet we do not admit it. Failing to admit our mistakes sends the wrong message and can build abrasive cynicism in children that can last through adulthood. After all, so often actions do speak louder than words.
